The Loire Valley invites you to join oyster aficionado Rowan Jacobsen and Muscadet aficionado Colleen Hein as they explore the special relationship between this wine and oysters. Become an oyster expert as Rowan takes us on a tour of these delectable bivalves. Colleen will discuss the intricacies of Muscadet wines along with the terroir of the Pays Nantais region, a key factor in making Muscadet pair so well with oysters. Then taste a special selection of locally available Muscadet wines along with oysters selected specifically by Mr. Jacobsen, cheeses from Wasik’s Cheese Shop in Wellesley, and sushi from the lively Q restaurant in Boston’s Chinatown.
